End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling industry for their great flexibility. These machines have great performance characteristics that are somewhat like sit-down electric forklift units.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space required to utilize these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck needs. These equipment are an ideal alternative for applications which require regular off and on access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading machine used by various businesses who maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and materials which are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for people who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need yet in a way which is both safe and efficient.
The basic reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks that move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks also include a hydraulic setup which enables the operator to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only offers much more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Normally, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without problems, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
