Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system offers a lot more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a huge range of optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you accomplish your requirements, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
Many attachments have been engineered and developed to be able to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to place materials in a more precise way. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to place loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being engineered and developed all the time and would debut in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for example, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom would compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
