Nissan's UFS reach trucks are able to perform in a 4-way action, which allows these models to carry out precision jobs in any direction. Normally, these narrow aisle forklifts are utilized for unloading and loading from ground level, stacking of long, wide or normal loads up to 9700 mm and internal transfer.
The UFS models can accommodate long cargo up to 2.5 ton in narrow aisles, and wide loads too. These features enable the lift truck to maximize storage space utilization and would accommodate every kind of pallet, including closed versions. The space efficiency of this particular model is extenuated because of its extended mast option.
Similar to most reach trucks available on the market, the maintenance expenses are somewhat low. Most of the components are easily accessible across the range and standard.
CAN Bus technology is utilized in the truck's BITE or Built In Test Equipment. This special feature provides monitoring and self-diagnosis. The truck's LCD screen offers accurate fault information to showcase repair times and improved maintenance. This enables the operator to enjoy greater up-time and less expenses overall.
URF is a very advanced model of narrow aisle truck which is equipped with swivel-reach. The forks horizontally rotate 180 degrees to allow stacking to the front as well as on either side of the aisle. This truck could be used with wire guided operation in free-ranging operations all around the warehouse or in aisles as narrow as 1.5 meters. The method this lift truck has been made enables optimum warehouse space use and the overall operation is faster and simpler as opposed to man-up operations. The power steering option, complete with mini steering wheel, completely adjustable fingertip and seat controls and the "floating" arm rest, all contribute to comfortable and productive operation. Statistics show that the more comfortable and happy the operator is the higher level of productivity.
The rotating forks on the URF model can be used for both aisle and warehouse handling applications. This model is best suited for aisle-ways that are only 300 mm wider than the transported load. In addition, the Autostop extra safety feature automatically stops the truck at the end of the aisles. Data terminals and ancillary equipment are incorporated easily. The video-view applications enable the operator to maintain the "man-down" position for simple truck access while visually inspecting the load at every stage of the handling procedure.
